Changing the Interface Size

Make text and buttons larger or smaller in the desktop app, the mobile app, and the web app.

Written by Vlad

If the text in your notes or on your flashcards feels too small or too large to read comfortably, you can change the size of the whole RemNote interface.

In the desktop and mobile apps

Go to Settings > Interface > Zoom level and drag the slider to the size you want. Click Reset to go back to 100%.

The Interface page in RemNote's settings, with Interface highlighted in the sidebar and the Zoom level slider at 100% next to a Reset button.

In the mobile app, you’ll find Settings behind the three-dot button in the upper-right corner of the home page. As in the desktop app, find the Zoom level setting in the Interface section of Settings.

The RemNote mobile home page, with an arrow pointing to the three-dot button in the upper-right corner.

In the web app

When you use RemNote in a browser, the browser’s own zoom controls the size. Press Ctrl+= (Cmd+= on a Mac) to zoom in, Ctrl+- (Cmd+- on a Mac) to zoom out, and Ctrl+0 (Cmd+0 on a Mac) to go back to 100%.

You can also use the zoom buttons in your browser’s menu. For example, here’s what they look like in Google Chrome:

The Google Chrome menu with the Zoom row highlighted, showing minus and plus buttons on either side of 100%.
