You can help translate RemNote!
Localizing a complex application like RemNote requires a large collective effort. As a startup with only a few employees, creating well-made translations for most of the world’s languages would be difficult. Instead, we allow the community to share their own expertise.
How Translation Works
RemNote uses an AI-based translation system, but native speakers play a crucial role in ensuring quality. If you're interested in helping with translations, you'll work with our team to create and refine language-specific guidelines that the AI uses to produce accurate translations.
How to Contribute
If you'd like to help translate RemNote into your language, here's how to get started:
Contact us via the chat widget - Use the chat widget available in the bottom right corner in RemNote or the help center to reach out to our support team.
Let us know your language - Tell us which language you'd like to help translate RemNote into and confirm that you're a native speaker.
We'll connect you with our translation engineer - Our team will assign your conversation to the engineer responsible for translations, who will send you further instructions on how to get started.
Iterative refinement - You'll review the AI-generated translations, suggest improvements to the guidelines, and we'll create updated test versions until the translation quality meets our standards.
What We're Looking For

Willing to go through a few rounds of review and feedback
Detail-oriented when reviewing translations for accuracy and natural phrasing
Using Your Translation
Once your changes have been approved, you'll find an option to change to the new language in Settings > Language > Interface Language.
